Video Blog: Werner talks practice, offense, ‘Bama challenge

By John Davis, Oxford Citizen

Ole Miss offensive coordinator Dan Werner said his boss, Hugh Freeze, has been anything but uptight this week as the No. 11 Rebels get ready for No. 1 Alabama.

Werner said the weeks where the opponent isn’t a team like Alabama are the ones where Freeze worries more because the players may not take their opponent as serious as needed. That shouldn’t be a problem this week for the Rebels, who will almost certainly play in front of a record crowd at Vaught-Hemingway Stadium.

Here is more with Werner, including his thoughts on Alabama and the expected wrinkles that will come from Alabama defensive coordinator Kirby Smart.
