Video Blog: Wommack pleased with defense’s work

By John Davis, Oxford Citizen

Dave Wommack, the Ole Miss Rebels’ defensive coordinator, said he was pleased with the way his players have prepared for an explosive offensive attack in Alabama.

The Rebels, who enter the game ranked as the SEC’s top defense, held the Memphis Tigers to just 104 yards last Saturday. Their challenge is a lot greater this week as Alabama comes in ranked second in the SEC in total offense (594.2 yards per game) and fifth in scoring, averaging 42 points per contest.

Here is Wommack’s thoughts on Alabama, and how much different the Crimson Tide look this season on offense with Lane Kiffin calling the plays.
