GameDay Crew talks Ole Miss, Grove, the show and more

Good stuff here from a media opp with the GameDay crew sans Lee Corso. We were told Corso was a little under the weather and wanted to save his voice.

Desmond Howard talks about being at Ole Miss, why GameDay hasn’t been here soon and other topics:

I have mentioned my belief that Ole Miss has to run the ball to have a chance to beat Alabama.

Kirk Herbstreit was adamant that rushing success has to take place for the Rebels to have a chance. That doesn’t appear on the video, but here’s the quote:

Herbstreit: If they’re not running the ball they’re not going to win. They’ve got to be able to take some pressure off Bo Wallace. If you put him into obvious passing situations your’e going to turn it over two or three times, and you’re going to lose.

Here’s Chris Fowler. They call him the commissioner. He’s been doing GameDay for 25 years. He talks in the video about his reaction when Ole Miss-Memphis was 7-3 and about how the show is more off the cuff than scripted.
