Video Blog: Johnson, Werner talk ‘Bama win

By John Davis, Oxford Citizen

Historic. Monumental. Program changing. Ole Miss’ 23-17 win over the top-ranked Alabama Crimson Tide was all of that, and more.

The Rebels, off to their best start to a year since 1962, defeated Alabama for the first time under coach Nick Saban, and for the first time since Eli Manning was quarterback in 2003.

Here is senior defensive end CJ Johnson following the win, and his thoughts about the Rebels being ranked in the top five, like many expect, on Sunday.

Here is offensive coordinator Dan Werner, who was very excited about the win, and how the Rebels performed against the vaunted Alabama defense.
