Wallace is SEC offensive player of the week

Ole Miss quarterback Bo Wallace has been named the SEC’s offensive player of the week.

The senior from Pulaski, Tenn., threw two touchdown passes in the final 5 minutes, 29 seconds to lead the Rebels to a come-from-behind win over Alabama, which was ranked No. 1 in the Amway USA Today coaches poll last week.

Wallace was 3-for-3 for 57 yards and two touchdowns on his last three pass attempts.

For the game he was 18-for-31 passing for 251 yards, three touchdowns and no interceptions.

He also rushed 11 times for 32 yards.

Wallace ranks second in the SEC in passing average (304.4 ypg) and touchdown passes (14).
