Rebels No. 3

I am still traveling and about to leave Birmingham.

Here’s the link to both polls. The Rebels are No. 3 in each, Mississippi State No. 1 in each.

Five coaches voted Ole Miss No. 1. Coaches do no disclose their ballots. Three voters in the AP Top 25 had Ole Miss No. 1 on their ballots. One of them, Chadd Cripe of the Idaho Statesman, saw the Rebels live against Boise State. The Rebels also got No. 1 votes from Eric Hansen of the South Bend Tribune and John Shinn of the Norman (Okla.) Transcript.

I’m shocked that FSU was knocked out of the top position. Would’ve thought:
    1. FSU 2. Ole Miss or MSU 3. MSU or Ole Miss

WHO on earth could have imagined–at the beginning of the year–that MSU and Ole Miss would be #1 and #3 and that they both had a real chance at being in the Final Four BCS team playoff at season’s end.
Wake me up from this crazeeee dream. LOL
