Ole Miss hoops picked sixth in SEC

Ole Miss was picked sixth in the SEC when the votes of conference and national media were announced today at SEC Basketball Media Days in Charlotte.

The Rebels are behind Georgia and ahead of Missouri. Kentucky is the unanimous No. 1 pick.

Ole Miss senior point guard Jarvis Summers, named the preseason player of the year by CBSSports.com earlier this week, was named preseason All-SEC first team.

Kentucky took four spots on the second team, one spot on the first. Only five other schools were represented on the preseason All-SEC team.

Here’s the whole thing.
