Injury Update

The “day to day” guys were all at practice today with the exception of center Ben Still.

Ole Miss coach Hugh Freeze rattled off a list of banged up players that he judged as “day to day” on Monday.

Offensive tackle Laremy Tunsil (biceps), defensive tackle Robert Nkemdiche (shoulder) and safety Cody Prewitt (shoulder) were all on that list. All were at practice today and seemed to be moving without a great degree of difficulty during the two media viewing periods.

Defensive coordinator Dave Wommack did say that Prewitt was held out of some drills.

Still didn’t play at LSU because of an MCL (knee) sprain. His absence was felt even more when Tunsil went out and Robert Conyers, the top tackle reserve, was already playing center.

Conyers remains the No. 1 center while Still is out.

Good to see that those injuries are not major major and that everyone (except Still and Denzel) will be back in action Saturday.
I’m amazed that Ole Miss is the 4th team picked in the 4 team playoff. That should be more incentive to get after the next group of Tigers this Saturday at the Vaught.
Thanks for the update report PA.
