Halftime: Ole Miss 17, Auburn 14

After a scary start not a bad half for the Ole Miss defense which forced four punts.

Auburn had a 237-200 yardage edge. Ole Miss gave up a rare big play on defense, a 57-yard touchdown pass to Sammie Coates that made it 14-14.

Ole Miss has had big plays too. Bo Wallace had a career-long 59-yard rush that set up a 10-yard touchdown pass from Wallace to Laquon Treadwell.

Ole Miss still isn’t running the ball, but there’s more first down passing, and it’s been pretty effective.

Wallace is 13-for-18 passing, 123 yards, no picks and a touchdown.

The Rebels fell behind 7-0 when Auburn took the opening kick 73 yards. Ole Miss tied the game on a 4-yard run by I’Tavius Mathers that capped an 11-play, 92-yard drive.

Ole Miss has 77 rushing yards on 15 carries, most of that Wallace’s run.

Wallace has seven carries for 75 yards. Walton has four carries for 16 yards.
