Wallace, Golson national award semifinalists

Ole Miss quarterback Bo Wallace and cornerback Senquez Golson have made the semifinals cut for two prestigious national awards.

Wallace is a semifinalist for the Maxwell Award which goes to the college player of the year, and Golson is a semifinalist for the Bednarik Award which goes to the nation’s outstanding defensive player.

Both lists are here.

Wallace is ranked in the national top 20 in passing efficiency, touchdowns, passing yards and points responsible for.

Golson leads the SEC in interceptions at 1.0 per game and passes defended at 1.6 per game. He ranks No. 2 and No. 8 nationally in those categories.
