Halftime: Ole Miss 35, Presbyterian 0

It didn’t take long for the game to get out of hand, but it hasn’t been all glorious for Ole Miss.

It’s been mostly glorious.

The Rebels did fail to advance when they had a first down at the Presbyterian 30 after a blocked punt. They couldn’t get a first down, and Andy Pappanastos missed a 42-yard field goal.

Bo Wallace has thrown an interception. He hung up a deep ball, and the wrong team got it.

Wallace has also completed 11-of-15 attempts for 140 yards and touchdowns covering 66 and 23 yards to Vince Sanders. The long one was mostly Sanders with a short pass.

Mark Dodson has scored on runs of 65 and 62 yards. That puts him over the 100-yard mark I think. Jordan Wilkins also has a 50-yard run, and Wallace has a 9-yard TD on a scramble.

Ole Miss has a yardage edge of 361-104. Dodson does indeed have 100-plus yards with 128 yards on three attempts.

The list of injured players being held out includes, OLs Laremy Tunsil and Aaron Morris, RB I’Tavius Mathers, DB Trae Elston, K Gary Wunderlich.

Robert Nkemdiche hasn’t played in a long time. I’m sure we’ve seen the last of him today and likely the last of many others.

Backups rejoice. The second half is yours.
