Rebels Rise

Shuffling in the poll with losses by teams ranked ahead of them probably had more to do with the Rebels’ rise than a dominating win over Presbyterian, but Ole Miss is back in the top 10 in both polls as it heads into an open date.

These polls are fun to look at but they now have the same meaning as they do in Basketball and baseball. They have no meaning. One question, If the AP has a #1 team at the end of the season different from the winner of the NCAA playoff, will reporters insist that we have duel champions?

That is a good question. Not sure what the structure will be for the final poll. Personally, I’m in for the playoff winner.
