Final: Charleston Southern 66, Ole Miss 65 OT

I am out of town this weekend. Thanks to’s Chase Parham for covering tonight.

Just a few box score notes …

According to Twitter reports, the Rebels were ahead by one but turned the ball over with 8.2 seconds left. CSU missed a layup that would have won the game but got a follow-up dunk that did win the game. The dunk was reviewed to see if it got off in time, but it did.

Here’s Kennedy:

The Rebels tied the game at 57 and forced overtime on a Stefan Moody layup with 16 seconds left. It was his first field goal after nine misses, seven of those from 3.

The Rebels scored only 17 in the first half and trailed by 12 at the break.

Jarvis Summers fouled out with only eight points. He was 3-for-13 from the floor, 1-for-8 from 3.

Ole Miss shot 30 percent from the floor, 20 percent from 3 and was minus-4 on the glass.

Here’s Martavious Newby:

CSU had 18 second-chance points to the Rebels’ 13 and 24 points in the paint to the Rebels’ 22.

A wIn there and into the National Championship game. GO rebels you can do it, aim high
