Big win for Ole Miss basketball

The Ole Miss men had a nice neutral court win over No. 23 Creighton last night, 75-68.

It was their first win over a ranked opponent since defeating Wisconsin in the NCAA tournament in 2013.

Just a few box score notes. Jarvis Summers led Ole Miss with 23 points. LaDarius White continues to play well. He had 18 points on 7-for-10 shooting, 2-for-3 behind the arc.

The Rebels were minus-2 on the glass. They shot 40 percent (6-for-15) from 3, but they’re still waiting for more significant offense from Stefan Moody. He was 1-for-5 from 3 and had five points in 23 minutes.

More minutes (9) for Anthony Perez last night,

The Rebels (4-1) take on Cincinnati tonight at 8. The game will be televised by the CBS college sports cable network.

And the Rebels beat Cincinnati last night. Rebel Stephan Moody put on a real show scoring a career-high 26 points to help Ole Miss cruise past
Cincinnati 66-54 and claim the Emerald Coast Classic.
I would hope this puts Ole Miss in the Top25. They’ve defeated #23 Creighton and the Cincinnati Bears.
