Golson, Nkemdiche named All-America by USA Today

Ole Miss senior cornerback Senquez Golson and sophomore defensive tackle Robert Nkemdiche were named All-Americans today by USA Today.

Golson was named first team All-America, Nkemdiche second team.

Golson earlier this week was named first-team All-SEC by both the Associated Press and the SEC coaches.

He led the SEC in interceptions with nine and in passes defended with 1.4 per game through the regular season.

The numbers were a huge increase for Golson over last year when he had two interceptions and broke up three passes.

Nkemdiche, the No. 1 recruit in the Class of 2013, was named first team All-SEC by the AP but was not mentioned at all by the coaches.

He finished the regular season with 33 tackles, three tackles for loss and two sacks.
