Freeze to earn $4.3 million a year

Ole Miss released the financial terms of the Hugh Freeze contract late this morning.

From the Mother Ship, our account.

Freeze’s salary jumps more than a million a year to $4.3 annually. One of the interesting incentives calls for his salary to immediately become $5 million a year if he reaches the SEC championship game. Not wins it, reaches it. In the meantime there annually $100,000 raises built in.

The contract extends fully to the maximum of four years allowed by state law.

The pool for assistant coach salaries increased by 25 percent.

The financial terms were combined in a school news release that announces a Monday morning press conference in which the school will share more detail about proposed renovation of Vaught-Hemingway Stadium.

    1) James M. You need to lear that just because someone has an opinion that differs from your doesn’t make their opinion “junk”. 2). I do have facebook and I don’t have a different opinion there than I do here. 3) I understand that you think it is geart that a junior college is better at developing quaterbacks to play in the SEC than Ole Miss is, but I think that it is a problem. Deal with it and don’t be such a troll.
