Final: Western Kentucky 81, Ole Miss 74

Ole Miss coach Andy Kennedy says he’s needs Batman, but there were no super heroes for the Rebels today, just for Western Kentucky.

TJ Price, a 6-4 guard, had 21 points in the second half. He finished with 26 points, 10 rebounds and five assists.

That trumped a 25-point effort from Stefan Moody, who was 6-for-10 from 3. Moody did most of his damage in the first half as Ole Miss built a lead of 17 points.

That lead dwindled to 13 by the break, but it was back at 16 with just under 15 minutes to play after a short jumper from Terence Smith.

Price heated up, and the Toppers poured it on from there.

The story line for this game is the worsening slump of Jarvis Summers. He was 2-for-14 shooting today and is 6-for-38 from the floor over his last four games.
