Saturday Peach Bowl Update

The Rebels worked out under mostly clear skies on artificial turf at the Georgia State football complex today.

Rain is expected to arrive in the area tonight, and Ole Miss will work out tomorrow at the Falcons facility which is about an hour away depending on traffic.

Most of practice was closed, but it did look like Bo Wallace was moving around well on his ankle during viewing periods. Quincy Adeboyejo had a couple of nice catches during that time. With Laquon Treadwell and Vince Sanders both out he could give the offense a big lift if he performs well against TCU.

Speaking of Treadwell, he was at the workout without the scooter that he needed shortly after his surgery.

The bowl games have certain requirements regarding the number of players available for interviews. In short, this is a really good week for the media. Guys who haven’t been available for a long time are out for interviews now. Here’s one of them, Robert Nkemdiche:

Another of them is Laremy Tunsil. He says he’s healthy and feeling good. That’s good news for Ole Miss.

He also talks about confidence lost at the end of the season and how that is being rebuilt right now. A win over TCU would be a real shot in the arm.

Here’s Tunsil:

Players were being fed hamburgers and hot dogs out of the back of a U-Haul trailer when we left. That should hold them until tonight’s outing at a Dave and Busters.
