Halftime: TCU 28, Ole Miss 0

The worst half of Ole Miss football under Hugh Freeze has concluded.

Bo Wallace has thrown three picks. The last one would have bounced in his own end zone — He was falling backward near the end line when he threw it — had it not been intercepted for six by TCU defensive end James McFarland.

The Rebels crossed the 50 under their own power just once.

The answer to the “Can it get any worse” question was answered with about 30 seconds left when Laremy Tunsil was carted off with what may be a broken leg.

TCU has been very efficient on offense, mostly using its short passing game and working the edges. That’s allowed the Frogs to run a little bit, but they haven’t mashed Ole Miss up front.

The sum total of all the parts is 226 yards for TCU, 59 on 35 plays for Ole Miss.

TCU quarterabck Trevon Boykin has been picked off twice and sacked twice. He’s 16-for-22 passing.

Wallace has been sacked five times and is 5-for-13 passing.
