Wrapping up the Peach Bowl

It was said of this Ole Miss football team in preseason that the Rebels would go as far as Bo Wallace could take them.

Looks like that turned out to be the case.

Almost two years removed from a surgically repaired shoulder and after spending a couple of weeks in the summer with shoulder specialist Tom House in Southern California this was the year Wallace had his best chance to play strong to the finish.

There are different factors involved like line play, run game inconsistency, an ankle injury for a time and more, but the bottom line is Wallace wasn’t as good at the end as he was through most of SEC play.

Through six conference games he really looked poised to silence doubters. Didn’t end that way.
