Monday Morning Update

Spanning the globe on a Monday morning …

Ole Miss quarterback signee Chad Kelly, a junior college transfer from East Mississippi, appears in court in Buffalo today after his late December arrest following a disturbance at a bar there.

Not much typically happens at an initial appearance such as this. Kelly could be asked to enter a plea or this could be about scheduling another hearing.

In other news …

What held back the Tide this season? How about defense? Ole Miss had big success against that defense in the second half. …

From, helmet stickers for SEC teams in bowl games. Tough to find a bright spot for Ole Miss in the Peach Bowl, but I co-sign on Issac Gross. …

In basketball, Georgia coach Mark Fox believes his Bulldogs have been strong in the pre-conference schedule and have positioned themselves to make a run at the NCAA tournament. Georgia hasn’t been since 2011. …
