Mathers to transfer

Ole Miss running back I’Tavius Mathers has confirmed to the Murfreesboro, Tenn., Daily News Journal that he is leaving Ole Miss.

Mathers, a junior from Murfreesboro, becomes the second Ole Miss running back to announce a transfer. Mark Dodson announced earlier this week.

One media report had Dodson transferring to the University of Memphis, in his hometown.

Middle Tennessee State, in Murfreesboro, has been speculated but not confirmed as a landing point for the 5-11, 190-pound Mathers.
