Speaking of the Tigers, they’re in town Wednesday night for basketball after a double overtime home win over Georgia. After the first week of conference play LSU and Ole Miss are among the six 1-1 teams in the league.

Alabama is not one of those 1-1 teams. The Crimson Tide is one of four 2-0 teams and was impressive in holding Tennessee to 38 points in Knoxville on Saturday. It was Alabama’s first SEC road win in almost two calendar years. …
