Saiz talks LSU

When two fairly evenly matched teams meet it helps to be the toughest. That’s what Sebastian Saiz says Ole Miss must be tomorrow night when LSU visits.

Both teams are 1-1 after the first week of SEC play, and both are teams that can play their way into the NCAA tournament conversation.

Here’s Saiz:

Getting to the NCAA tournament is going to be difficult for Ole Miss because of several of its pre-conference losses. The Rebels off-set those — to a degree — with neutral site and road wins.

The Rebels have an RPI of 52 going into the LSU game. That alone won’t get you in the tournament, but it’s a number you can work with as the SEC schedule is still out in front.

It’s going to take a lot of SEC wins to get the Rebels very far in the conversation. There’s no better place to start than tomorrow night against LSU.
