Ole Miss Defense by the numbers

Ole Miss led the nation in scoring defense at 16.0 points per game allowed. The Rebels gave up 208 total points on the season. Eighty-nine of those points came in the last three games. Ole Miss was giving up just 11.9 points per game going into the Arkansas game. Make of that what you will. I didn’t think the Rebels were bad defensively against Arkansas. A lot of things worked against the Ole Miss defense in that game.
