Senior Bowl Day 2

Wrapping up Day 2 at the Senior Bowl.

It looked like good days for Cody Prewitt and Senquez Golson. I’ll let them tell their stories below.

Golson was beaten a time or two but also made some nice plays.

Jacksonville coach Gus Bradley, leading the South team, says Prewitt was done a good job of doing the different things – meaning non-free safety – that he’s been asked to do this week.

Bradley calls Prewitt “lively and spirited” and says “sometimes he’s down, and sometimes he’s back. It’s really like two positions.

Bradley says Golson’s size won’t necessarily work against him with all teams, because teams are looking for different things out of their cornerbacks.

The Cleveland Browns spent 15 minutes with Golson after practice on Tuesday. Today it was the Saints, and Golson seemed genuinely pleased by that as the Saints are kind of a hometown team on the Mississippi Coast. That being said, Golson says he’s a Falcons fan.
