Report: Elston, Stringfellow arrested

Ole Miss football players Trae Elston and Damore’ea Stringfellow have been arrestetd.

The Jackson Clarion-Ledger cited the Lafayette County Detention Center’s booking log in reporting that both players were charged with disorderly conduct shortly after midnight today.

Elston, a rising senior, is expected to be one of the leaders in the secondary with the loss of free safety Cody Prewitt.

Elston was also charged with resisting arrest. Oxford Police Department officers responded to the call.

Stringfellow is expected to figure prominently at wide receiver. He sat out last season after transferring from Washington.

Ole Miss coach Hugh Freeze, presently, said he hasn’t confirmed the arrests and is waiting on more information.

Freeze was in Mobile for Senior Bowl activities Wednesday.
