Monday Morning Update

Spanning the globe on a Monday morning …

I”ve been trying to post some video interviews on the blog from time to time.

If all goes according to plan — and quite often a plan blows up — I will have an interview with former Ole Miss basketball star Terrico White later this morning. We’ll be live at 9, and you can watch here on the blog … if things go according to plan.

White is playing in Russia right now.

If you’ve got a question for Terrico hit me up on Twitter, and I’ll try to work it in. The replay will be available shortly after the interview.  …

Senquez Golson, who sat out the actual game with a strained groin, attracted a lot of interest during Senior Bowl week, much of it from the Cleveland Browns as this report says. I can confirm that the Browns were very interested in Golson as their scout used all but two minutes of time that was allegedly dedicated to media.  …

Cody Prewitt also turned heads in Mobile. One of the best lines I heard down there on either of the Ole Miss players was the Prewitt has “Troy Polamalu-like hair.” I don’t know exactly how that figures into war room discussions, but maybe it will help.

Anyway, this Giants blogger thinks Prewitt would be a good fit in New York. …

Sometimes we take life on the road for granted:

Here’s the Rivals profile on new Ole Miss commit Rasool Clemons, a weak side defensive end and former Virginia commit. …

Ole Miss basketball had a nice win over Florida on Saturday. Here’s the Gainesville Sun’s take. While it was an impressive win it won’t mean a thing of the Rebels can’t begin to string some wins together. Two big ones this week — at home against Mississippi State and at Missouri. They are RPI losses that the Rebels’ can’t afford on their resume, and they’re wins that Ole Miss needs to get that streak going, get hot and gain confidence. …

Baseball practice is officially under way. Here’s part of a Q-and-A D1Baseball.com’s Kendall Rogers had with Ole Miss coach Mike Bianco late last week. …
