Tennessee at Ole Miss

Stefan Moody had the game of his Ole Miss career Thursday night. Can he continue to play that way down the stretch and shoot Ole Miss into the NCAA tournament? Perhaps. What needs to happen is for others to follow his lead. You can say “others,” but that really doesn’t include everybody on the roster. Roles are clearly defined at this point in the season. It’s late to re-define them, but that can happen if, say, M.J. Rhett or Terence Smith show they can score in double figures consistently. Right now those guys are taking shots where appropriate but understand that Jarvis Summers and LaDarius White have been the go-to guys. It was necessary much earlier in the season for Moody to understand his role. He’s grown into that, as Ole Miss coach Andy Kennedy discusses in today’s advance.
