Only nine hits in the game, five by Ole Miss. Southern Miss took control with a four-run sixth inning to make it 5-0. The Eagles scored their runs in two hits and an error in the inning. Evan Anderson took the loss going five innings with three hits and three runs, all earned. The Rebels had five singles, no extra base hit and walked only once. Ole Miss is at home against Stetson this weekend.
