Video Blog: BYU Cougars talk Ole Miss Rebels, First Four game

By John Davis, Oxford Citizen

BYU’s Cougars, just like the Ole Miss Rebels, sweated a little Sunday night waiting to hear their name on CBS’s NCAA Tournament Selection Show.

While the Cougars felt like they had done enough — 25-9 record overall, 13-5 record in the West Coast Conference — there were some tense moments all the way until they saw that Ole Miss was the opponent Tuesday night in Dayton, Ohio.

BYU averages 83.6 points per game, and features a roster with four players 6-foot-10, or taller. The key to advancing past the Rebels, according to the Cougars, was rebounding. When they have more boards than their opponent this season, the Cougars are 17-0.

Here are three interviews with Chase Fischer, Corbin Kaufusi and Skylar Halford.
