Friday Morning Update

Spanning the globe, or at least a few mock drafts, on a Friday morning …

The elephant in the room this season will be the Ole Miss group of juniors. Many in that vaunted 2013 signing class will have decisions to make after this season.

Frankly, some of those decisions may not be hard.

With the 2015 draft fast approaching there are a lot of 2016 mock drafts out there right now. I’ve included three. Two of them have Laremy Tunsil, Robert Nkemdiche and Laquon Treadwell going in the first round. One of them has Treadwell just outside the first round with some uncertainty over how he comes back from his broken fibula and dislocated ankle.

All of them have those three players in that order — Tunsil, Nkemdiche, Treadwell. The first one has all three off the board in the first seven picks.

Treadwell says he’s not looking ahead.

“Not at all. I’m here working with my teammates. They know that, and I stay focused and locked in with them. Whatever we go through together we’re going to deal with together. The coaches keep me down to the team mind,” he said.
