Video Blog: Bianco talks Stokes, Dishon, Evan Anderson

By John Davis, Oxford Citizen

Ole Miss is back on the diamond tonight against Memphis in AutoZone Park. Head coach Mike Bianco didn’t talk much about the Tigers during his meeting with the media Monday.
Instead, his answers revolved around questions about Will Stokes solidifying the role as the Rebels’ third starter.

Stokes started last Saturday’s game at Arkansas, a week after starting against No. 1 Florida at home. The freshman from West Lauderdale High pitched into the fifth inning before being relieved by Jacob Waguespack.

Bianco talked about Stokes’ ability and his thoughts on where he could factor into being the third starter as the Rebels move forward. Tennessee is visiting Oxford this weekend for a three-game series.

Bianco also talked about Cameron Dishon’s progress and how his development has helped the Rebels.

Evan Anderson will start tonight’s game in Memphis, and Bianco talked about where he is at the halfway point of the season.
