This was making the rounds on social media yesterday. I’ve swatted away a lot of basketballs through the years, ducked some footballs too. The closest I’ve come to taking a hit on a sideline was when DeAngelo Williams was running my way in 2003. The social commentary makes fun of he ladies for not paying attention, but nobody mentions the three to four people right around them. The guy in the orange t-shirt, specifically, needs to react a little quicker:

Interesting read here on “donations” to college athletics departments, the ones that go toward purchasing tickets and other amenities, and how lucrative those deductions can be at tax time. The deadline is coming up soon by the way. …
