By John Davis, Oxford Citizen

Ole Miss continued to produce at the plate in its SEC opener against Tennessee Friday night.

Will Golsan led the 13-hit attack for the Rebels with three hits and four RBIs in the 10-7 win over the Volunteers. Two of his hits were doubles. Connor Cloyd, batting ninth, came through with two hits and scored three runs.

Sikes Orvis drove in two runs with a home run, while J.B. Woodman had two hits a game after he collected three hits in the 7-5 win over Memphis on Tuesday night.

Christian Trent overcame a rocky start to earn his fifth win of the season, while Wyatt Sor pitched the ninth to earn his fifth save.

Here are Golsan, Cloyd and Ole Miss coach Mike Bianco following the victory. Game 2 of the series is set for Saturday afternoon at 4.
