Jeremy Liggins has played a lot of different positions since high school. He’s a junior now, and Ole Miss coach Hugh Freeze says the move of Liggins to left offensive tackle has been the right thing to do. Liggins will likely dabble at other positions. Don’t be surprised to see him continue his role as short-yardage quarterback, and spot duty at tight end is possible if injuries crop up there or if development behind Evan Engram is less than Freeze likes. For now, Liggins is getting a lot of reps as a starting left tackle with Laremy Tunsil on the mend and looks like he’s being groomed to be Tunsil’s replacement in 2016.
From the Mother Ship, our Sunday update on Jeremy Liggins.
