Martin is 10-24 for a reason, and the Rebels did what they needed to do in a business-like manner.

That’s about all you could say for this game, and honestly, you haven’t been able to say that in some other games this season that should have had a similar result.

The Rebels are hoping to build momentum from a series win at No. 1 Vanderbilt last weekend. This was a good start.

Sam Smith went a season-long six innings, and Colby Bortles homered twice — one of them his second grand slam in five days.

Ole Miss is at Auburn this weekend.

Sikes Orvis also had a home run, but to get a real idea of what kind of game it was, just know that Orvis also had a stolen base, the second of his career.
