Final: Ole Miss 8, MSU 7, 10 innings

A wild one to say the least. The Rebels were lethargic on offense all day until the ninth and even then they needed help from MSU.

But they got it and got to the 10th. That’s when Wyatt Short pitched a perfect inning and Ole Miss got Austin Knight aboard with a walk. They moved him to third where he was replaced by Tate Blackman and scored on Nic Perkins’ walk-off chopper.

Ole Miss, now four games over .500 and needing to be two games over to really relieve some pressure in the SEC tournament, travels to Arkansas State Tuesday night and finishes the regular season at home next weekend against Texas A&M.

The Rebels have bested the Bullies in football, twice in basketball, and four times in baseball. Who’s yo daddy? 🙂

Rebels 7-0 over TSBU is the natural order of things.
