Video Blog: Bianco, Robinson talk NCAA Regionals

By John Davis, Oxford Citizen

Ole Miss is back in the NCAA Regionals, with a matchup set against Maryland in the first game of the Los Angeles Regional.

Shortstop Errol Robinson is very familiar with the Terrapins, winners of 39 games this season, having grown up in Maryland. Robinson even got a text message from Maryland’s starting third baseman seconds after the matchup was announced.

Ole Miss coach Mike Bianco wasn’t as familiar with Maryland, but he has been to UCLA, the host school of the Los Angeles Regional, and knows that the Bruins, the No. 1 overall seed in the field of 64, are very, very good.

A trip to Los Angeles is a reward in itself for this team. You can watch the game Friday night against Maryland (6pm) on the internet via ESPN3.
