New quarterback and a stable full of receivers and runningbacks. Makes for an exciting season. Sports Illustrated has Ole MIss at #13 in their preseason poll. The Rebels are getting a lot of respect and love from the sports media.
Saw this (in another paper) this morning….
“Ole Miss released an updated roster with preseason camp getting underway, and it revealed one significant change.

Redshirt freshman D.K. Buford will be moving from cornerback to running back.

It likely won’t be a major, major adjustment for Lafayette High School product. The 5-foot-11, 221-pounder was ranked as the No. 6 all-purpose back in the nation by 247Sports.com.

Ole Miss has some depth at the position with start Jaylon Walton, Jordan Wilkins, Akeem Judd and possibly Eugene Brazely slated to get touches this season. But freshman Swinney may be forced to redshirt after having surgery on his stress fractures.”
Buford has real good size for a running back. He and Judd are big ole boyz.
