Wommack likes depth

Ole Miss defensive coordinator Dave Wommack visited with us today and had really good things to say about his depth in the secondary and on the front line.

We continue to hear really good things about defensive tackle Breeland Speaks. Sounds like he could help pass rush from the interior.

Wommack says he has a defensive line that can play big and physical or smaller and quicker depending on the personnel groupings. He expects to play 8-10 up front.

He also said he believes he’ll play more players in the secondary than he has since he arrived with Hugh Freeze in 2012.
