Freeze after Tuesday practice

Hugh Freeze stopped short of calling today’s practice sluggish but said he’d like to see a different level of attitude and demeanor the next time the Rebels work out on a school day.

This kind of review is not uncommon when the team is combining a practice with classes, study hall, weights and the other things Freeze refers to as a “work day.”

Here’s the video:

After 2 1-2 weeks of camp the injury list is relatively short and minor aside from the torn labrum for guard Rod Taylor who is still a few weeks out, Freeze said.

The weekend scrimmage work did nothing to create separation among the three quarterbacks. Freeze said he expects all three to play Sept. 5 against Tennessee-Martin. Who plays best in that game could have the inside track to being named starter for Week 2.
