Video Blog: Rebels’ Luke talks blocked punt

By John Davis, Oxford Citizen

Cale Luke has been praying for a moment like he had Saturday night. The sophomore wide receiver from Clinton, and the son of former Ole Miss Rebel quarterback Tom Luke, provided one of the biggest plays in the Rebels’ 27-16 win over Vanderbilt.

With the game tied at 13, Luke blocked the punt attempt of Tommy Openshaw late in the third quarter. The Rebels recovered and got the ball at the Vanderbilt 20-yard line. Seven plays later, Robert Nkemdiche was in the end zone with the deciding touchdown.

Here are Luke’s thoughts on the block following the win.
