Tuesday Morning Update

Spanning the globe on a Tuesday morning …

As Ole Miss prepares to visit Florida the Gators have the flu. How that affects the team later in the week remains to be seen, but the number of ill was a nine yesterday to start the week. …

A couple of other Florida nuggets here from the Jim McElwain presser on Monday:

Treon Harris, last year’s QB starter, was suspended for a team rules violation last week.

Then there’s this:

Auburn may move ahead with its search for a new baseball coach — MSU pitching coach Butch Thompson has been mentioned — but it doesn’t look like it will be moving away from Sunny Golloway any time soon:

New South Carolina quarterback Lorenzo Nunez graded well in his first start. …

The summer’s SEC up-and-comers, Arkansas and Tennessee both hungry for a conference win when they meet in Knoxville this week. …

Successful surgery for a Southern University player who suffered a several neck injury at Georgia. …

Speaking of Georgia, big game Saturday between the Bulldogs and Alabama in Athens. …

“McElwain said Vernon Hargreaves has a lower back issue but should be OK for Saturday’s game.”

I hope he can play healthy (will make it a more challenging game for Chad) and I hope that Laremy Tunsil is able to get back to his spot at LT. The NC2A should ___or git off the pot IMHO.

Was listening to Reb Talk last night with David Kellum and Coach Freeze and Freeze seemed to think that Wednesday could be the day the NC2A announces a decision on Tunsil. Keep your fingers crossed and your FINS UP!

i don’t think Laremy Tunsil should have been suspended at all. Vernon Hargreaves played last week against the vols injuried, The Gators are very weak on the OL, three (3) starting Freshmen on the line Robert ( Ole Miss all-American)should have a field day

JB…the Rebel Oline is also playing 3 freshmen (rotating in & out): Javon Patterson, Sean Rawlings, Jordan Sims.
You play the cards you’re dealt, my pappy use to say. :))
