Tuesday Practice Update

Cornerback Tee Shepard was not at practice during today’s viewing periods. The situation remains fluid, we’re told.

Today’s first-team offensive line from left tackle to right included Fahn Cooper, Aaron Morris, Ben Still, Rod Taylor and Sean Rawlings.

Laremy Tunsil, you may remember him, took some left tackle reps with the second team along with Christian Morris.

Others from left to right on the second team were Daronte Bouldin, Jacob Feely, and Jordan Sims. Didn’t catch the right tackle.

Held out of practice today were Robert Conyers, Justin Bell and Javon Patterson.

At middle linebacker, Christian Russell seemed to be getting most of the first-team reps, but Terry Caldwell was working in there too, and after practice defensive coordinator Dave Wommack told us Caldwell would start in place of C.J. Johnson.

Here’s the Wommack interview.

Here’s Caldwell:

Is anyone asking WHY these injuries are occurring and WHY the defense seems to be gassed in the 4th quarter? Are the players in ‘proper physical shape’? This is the responsibility of strength coach Paul Jackson to get them in shape to play 60 minutes. I’m just axin’.
