All I have to say is…it better be a serious and ‘beyond any reasonable doubt’ violation for keeping this young man out of SIX games. If not, then I would hope somebody files a suit against the NCAA for jeopardizing Tunsil’s future at the next level.

i think it is more serious than what we have seen here on this Ole Miss sports blog. if it was not too serious why, then why have Coach Freeze kept Tunsil out of the lineup. Ole Miss has a track record for NCAA recruiting violations over the years, even going back to the Lance Alworth days, and further than that. Just how many of those prize Recruits did Ole Miss give generous benefits to, to lure them to Oxford.

Are you serious JB? A ”track record of violations”?
Please name me one recruiting violation during Ole Miss Coach Freeze’s tenure. Maybe I’ve just forgotten. IF there was one it was not so serious that it cost the Rebels a bowl game or have to forfeit wins.
All there is–right now–in the Tunsil tragedy/saga is speculation. Coach Freeze is smart enough to NOT play Tunsil at this juncture and have to forfeit all games–he may have played in–IF there are provable violations. That’s it in a nutshell.
        Don’t be so negative.
Rejoice…your Gators play a helluva game last night and won. They may just get a chance to play the Rebels again in Atlanta. 🙂

i think Coach Freeze is an honest man and coach, those violations could have been under previous coaches, but this Tunsil thing has got some fire somewhere in the trash pile, or coach would have played the All-American. as it stands not this young man has sit by and wasted half his junior year while NCAA and Ole miss play their games.

As for Gator vs Rebels play in Atlanta — its possible — but there is a stumbling block in the road for both teams, that stumbling block is the LSU Tigers. Ole Miss got to face Tex A&M,
Arkansas , BRETHREN Zak & MiSS STATE. Gators got LSU, Georgia, So Carolina, and BRETHREN D. Cook & FSU
