Wednesday Morning Update

Spanning the globe on a Wednesday morning …

Auburn cornerback Jonathan Jones says Laquon Treadwell is a “regular receiver,” the implication being, I guess, that the Tigers can handle Treadwell. Treadwell’s been pretty impressive of late. He’s working on a streak of three 100-yard games. …

After the Texas A&M’s struggles at Ole Miss there’s a full-on quarterback competition:

A little more background on the Aggies QB picture here.

Then there’s this on the matchup of SEC sack leader Myles Garrett against Laremy Tunsil. Had it been a fight it would have been stopped in the fifth round:

South Carolina running back Brandon Wilds says the team has bounced back pretty quickly since the mid-season resignation of coach Steve Spurrier. …

Maty Mauk has been reinstated at quarterback for struggling Missouri. …

Florida and running back Kelvin Taylor are hoping to revive the run game against Georgia this weekend. …

Vanderbilt is taking on unbeaten American Athletic Conference member Houston this week. Commodores coach Derek Mason is trying to get his folks to understand just how big a game it is:
