Monday Morning Update

Spanning the globe on a Monday morning …

Auburn defensive end Carl Lawson had a tackle and three pressures against Ole Miss in his first game back after a six-week absence. He had not played since the season opener against Louisville and missed all of 2014 with a knee injury. Still, Lawson took responsibility for the Tigers’ loss and apologized after the game.

Ole Miss coach Hugh Freeze has taken some criticism for his play-calling this year. Saturday Auburn coach Gus Malzahn was taken to task for play-calling too.

Missouri QB Maty Mauk goes from suspended to unsuspended to resuspended prior to the struggling Tigers’ home game this week against Mississippi State.
