Media Monday Wrap

Don’t be surprised to see Ole Miss’ jack-of-all trades in the secondary spending more time at cornerback.

Ole Miss coach Hugh Freeze on Monday did not say that was the plan for senior Mike Hilton moving forward. He did say he wants his best 11 players on the field.

Having Tony Conner back at Huskie gives Ole Miss the freedom to use Hilton in other places. How Conner ‘s knee responds to 30 snaps played against Arkansas and his availability for LSU remains to be seen.

Also, in the notebook Freeze talks about the career-ending injury for offensive tackle Christian Morris, a little more on Conner and what he calls the Rebels’ best offensive effort since he’s been head coach at Ole Miss.
