After Hymon’s big day, Ole Miss is back in action against Seton Hall

I’ve been on the Marcanvis Hymon train early this season, and he really showed out yesterday, albeit against a lesser team.

Hymon got the start in the Rebels’ 76-60 win over Towson State and had 20 points, nine rebounds and three blocked shots in 28 minutes. He shot 10-for-11 from the floor.

By dropping its Charleston Classic opener to George Mason, Ole Miss missed a chance for a schedule-building win by not getting to play Oklahoma State, currently ranked No. 60 in the Ken Pom power rankings.

As it turns out, George Mason defeated Oklahoma State, and Mason is now rated 176.

Ole Miss gets a top 100 opportunity today against Seton Hall which is ranked No. 91 and comes in with a 3-1 record.

Towson is ranked No. 219.

Tip time against Seton Hall is 2:30.

You would think Hymon will get another start, and it will be interesting to see what he does against a little better team.
